Who We Are
Noisefilter is an educational platform that addresses health and wellness topics through creative digital storytelling. Dr. MarkAlain Dery, Dr. Eric Griggs (“Doc Griggs”) and David Roston, three expert health communicators, distill dense medical concepts into engaging and accessible lessons. Past collaborations have included such agencies as the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the New Orleans Health Department and more.
Meet the Doctors
NoiseFilter was founded by two friends, an infectious disease physician and community health specialist. Through science-based messaging, Dr. Dery and Doc Griggs seek to combat misinformation while empowering individuals to live healthy lives.
Dr. MarkAlain Dery
Dr. MarkAlain Dery is an infectious diseases specialist with extensive experience responding to global disasters and viral outbreaks. He is also the founder of the community radio station 102.3FM WHIV-LP, with programming dedicated to human rights and social justice.
Doc Griggs
"Doc Griggs” is the health and wellness awareness persona of Eric Griggs, M.D., a New Orleans-based Community Medicine and Health Educator who has dedicated his professional life to raising health and wellness awareness in communities across the United States.
